Don’t get lost in the Facebook new pages experience changes! In this blog post, we will cover the most asked questions on how to operate the New Pages Experiences.

UPDATED FEB 24 2023: This blog post was updated to include how to share posts from other pages to your company page or groups.

The difference between Facebook classic pages and New Page Experience?

Here is your Facebook New Pages Experience User Guide to cover your questions about the pages! The Classic pages version is most likely the one you are currently using. It’s focused more on being a page, rather than an account that you can interact with customers on other Facebook mediums (groups or posts). But New Experience is focused on being more user interactive. However, it’s not the most user-friendly for people with a strong history with the classic version in terms of settings. The New Page Experience is more focused on being a profile than pages.

Hearing that Facebook might force you to create Facebook New Pages Experience pages or switch your account to that format can sound daunting, but after this guide, you will feel much better about the switch.

Here is our overall Facebook new pages experience guide to make the switch a little easier.

Major Differences

  • Redesigned layout for a cleaner layout.
  • Easy switch capabilities to use the company profile to the personal profile.
  • Seamless interactions with other companies, individuals, or profiles.
  • Updated access roles.

Read our blog post that goes over the difference between Facebook New Page Experience Vs Classic in detail.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR November 8th 2022

Facebook has emailed one of our marketing specialists that, “Starting soon, the option to switch back to the classic Pages experience will no longer be available for your Page(s). Over the coming months, all Pages will be updated to the Facebook new Pages experience and the classic Pages experience will no longer be available.
Thanks,
The Facebook Pages Team”

Which means that you will no longer be able to switch back to classic and the Facebook New Pages Experience will remain.
